La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur and has both hotels for business and travel. The majority of hotels for tourists lie near and within a couple blocks of the malecon (seaside walk) or along the road to the ferry terminal at Pichilingue. La Paz Baja offers the most varied and least expensive selection of hotels to stay of any city in Baja There are also a couple bed and breakfast inns located in the downtown area. There are a few vacation rentals available, but since the city is located on a bay and not on the beaches like Los Cabos, most people stay in apartments near the water. Campgrounds and RV parks are almost all found outside the city. There is beach camping past the ferry terminal but you will need to bring your own supplies. Below is a list of various type of La Paz accommodations, click on the accommodation below for further information. |
