| Although La Paz is not considered by most as a party hotspot like its neighbor to the south Cabo San Lucas, that does not mean there is no nightlife at all. La Paz has several small cantinas to enjoy a margarita or cerveza, some with ocean views, but no real major clubs or discos to party until the wee hours of the evening. Most of the nightlife will take place around the malecon area. Here you can see mariachi's walking around in search of someone to pay them to play their music.
